Quality tuition since 2015
JT tutoring was established in 2015 to address the growing demand for a high quality, affordable tuition service in Cambridgeshire. We have formed strong relationships with students, parents, guardians, teachers and schools. We developed our educational support services in line with their ongoing feedback in order to continue to meet the needs of the communities as they arise.
SEN Education
Inclusive Education
Special Educational Needs (SEN) is an umbrella term for an aspect of UK school education focusing on students primarily with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. The term covers specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and ADHD; pervasive disorders such as autism; and physical disabilities such as visual and hearing impairment
JT Tutoring offers experienced tutors who specialise in teaching pupils with dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia and other learning difficulties at your home and convenience. Private home schooling by a specialist SEN tutor means the child has one-on-one tuition and this is always the ideal scenario.
Our SEN tutors are specialists in teaching at all levels from primary and secondary tutoring to adult education. Our tutors will offer tuition to suit the students’ individual needs. Our SEN tutors in conjunction with carers, parents and schools will develop a tailored programme of learning for each student which starts by completing an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) with the pupil during the initial tutoring sessions in order to determine what areas need to be developed and to define the learning outcomes.
Our Tutors will also teach siblings and small family groups, if required, which can prove to be very successful.
All our tutors have experience with pupils of all abilities and will be allocated to pupils on out best suit ethos.
What people are saying
James worked with our son throughout his GCSE years and as a direct result our son passed his Math’s GCSE. James systematically worked through the fundamentals and helped our son understand how to apply the principles and what the examiners would be be looking for. Highly recommended.
My daughters year 11 has just started and can’t believe what a difference one session has done, very understanding teacher. Made things easier to absorb . Wicked start well chuffed.
James is a skilled Maths tutor who offers a calm and clear approach. He helped my daughter at GCSE level to understand the basic concepts which developed and increased her self confidence. Highly recommended.
